CBT & Web Process Overview

I approach each new project with an efficient method for delivering desired results. Please review my brief outline of the developmental steps to get an understanding of the process.

Step 1 — Consultation

You are experienced at what you do but might not have the best idea on how to portray it in a digital means. You may have just an idea or a firmer picture of what you need to get your project underway. My role is to help you figure out how to best display do that. I can help you understand your needs as they relate to computer based media and keep you within your budget.

Step 2 — Assessment

After doing an initial study of your project plan, I will offer suggestions for improvement in usability, and by anticipating your future needs.

Step 3 — Layout and Design

I follow a two-step process. The first and is the development of a flowchart that incorporates the total system. On large projects, the flowchart functions like a piece of software with functional links. This allows you to test the system design before it is built.

The second step is designing the overall look of the project and making sure that it integrates with the product itself in order to function as an extension of your product line.

Step 4 — Product Development

Once the layout, flow and design are approved, I go on to develop your product. I create a couple of design (graphic) layouts to choose from and demo pages for approval.

Step 5 — Quality Assurance

The product will be tested on various speeds and platforms.

I also ensure that the product is intuitive to provide ease of use for all levels of users.

Step 6 — Continued Support

Once your product is delivered, I continue to provide on-going support. Contact me with any questions.
